University of Hawaii outside linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa headed a group of three Warriors selected today in the NFL draft.

UH guard Vince Manuwai and offensive tackle Wayne Hunter were selected in successive picks in the third round.

Manuwai was picked by Jacksonville (72nd pick overall) and Hunter was taken by Seattle (73rd).

The first player with Hawaii ties drafted by Notre Dame center Jeff Faine, who was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the first round, 21st overall. Faine reportedly lived in Hawaii for 10 years.

Another player who spent his early life in Hawaii -- Kawika Mitchell -- was selected in the second round by Kansas City (47th player overall).

The draft's first three rounds were held today with the final four rounds held Sunday.
