KAILUA, Hawai'i — The Hawai'i State Judiciary will host a "Law Day" program tomorrow in Kailua on the Big Island.

The program, which will feature videos and discussions with two judges on how the court system works, will begin at 5:50 p.m. in the Family Court courtroom at 77-6399 Nalani St.

Two videos, "Broken Scales: Justice Under the Influence," and "Cracking the Habit: Drug Courts in Action," will be shown to highlight the themes of judicial independence and drug courts.

Circuit Court Judge Ronald Ibarra and Family Court Judge Aley Auna will be available to answer questions after the videos.

Law Day is a national event held each year to increase public awareness about the American tradition of law. The event is free and open to the public.
