CROQUET

• Event to be held on Lana'i: The Lodge at Koele will host the first croquet fever event in Hawai'i, Feb. 6 through Feb. 8, on the resort's two new championship croquet courts on Lana'i.

The three day, USCA-sanctioned event had previously been held only in the Southeastern United States.

The popularity of the sport has allowed the tournaments to branch out to other areas of the United States.

There is a prize purse for the overall winner, and other prizes will also be awarded. International rules will be in effect for the tournament.
