A 31-year-old O'ahu man accused of a July 28 car-jacking incident and collision that resulted in injuries to four people has been ordered to stand trial on felony charges.
A District Court judge concluded yesterday that there was sufficient evidence to order Steven Adams to stand trial on charges of second-degree robbery, auto theft, three counts of failure to render aid and first-degree negligent injury. His bail remains at $35,000.
Adams is accused of stealing a woman's Lexus at the corner of Philip Street and Kalakaua Avenue, hitting her with the car when she tried to stop him and later running a red light and colliding with another car, injuring three more people.
