Hawai'i child tax-credit checks mailed

Today was the third and final Friday of the main mailout of child tax credit checks from the IRS.• In all, 100,513 Hawai‘i taxpayers received — or will soon receive — a total of $61,337,090.45, said Shawn George, an IRS spokeswoman in Seattle.
• To find out the amount and mailing date of a check, taxpayers are directed to the “Where's My Advance Child Tax Credit?” feature on IRS.gov.
