Mesh placed on mountainside in Hawai'i Kai

Workers placed a mesh panel on the mountainside behind the Lalea subdivision in Hawai'i Kai yesterday as part of a rockslide mitigation project.

About 100 mesh panels weighing 830 pounds each will be needed to secure the boulders.
