Tonight's Must-See
"Will & Grace" (8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.), "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" (9 p.m.) and "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" (10:35), all NBC. NBC has found fresh ways to please gay and straight viewers. It's done that for years with "Will & Grace." Now cable's Bravo channel (owned by NBC) has "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," in which five gay men experts on fashion, food and more make over one straight guy. The guys (especially fashion expert Carson Kressley) show great wit and the show offers an affection for both sides. Now comes a sort of marathon, barring more changes from the network. The current plan reruns the 100th episode of "Will & Grace" at 8 p.m., followed by clips. It's a funny tale, with Katie Couric nudging Grace and Leo to a wedding. At 9 p.m. (ousting a "Boomtown" rerun) is a "Queer Eye" show that previously aired on Bravo. This involves a self-styled "urban cowboy" from New Jersey who wants a makeover before his wedding proposal. And at 10:35 p.m., the "Queer Eye" guys will be on "Tonight." They plan to give Jay Leno a makeover, returning Friday with the results.
