Shelby Isa, 10, caught this kupipi at South Kona Beach on the Big Island. Shelby, of Manoa, her father, Brian, and family friends hiked over lava rocks to the fishing site. "Although it was not a big fish, Shelby was determined to not let it get away," wrote Earlyn Sato, Brian's fiancèe, "The kupipi gave a good fight."
