Tonight's Must-See

"See Jane Date," 8 p.m., ABC Family; repeats at 10 p.m. Jane (Charisma Carpenter) has a life that seems enviable in every way but one: Younger people are getting married and she doesn't have a date for the wedding. That slender notion launches this amiable comedy. The ending is pat and predictable but there's a lot of clever dialogue on the way. There are many guest appearances. Evan Marriott, of "Joe Millionaire" fame, has a funny little scene as a forceful date.

Of Note

"Pride and Prejudice" (1995), 5 & 9 p.m., A&E. Here's the second half of the acclaimed miniseries. Simon Langton, Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle star in Jane Austen's classic story.

"Mission to Mars" (2000), 7 p.m., ABC. Lots of talented people combined to make a movie that audiences ignored. Brian De Palma directed Gary Sinise, Tim Robbins, Don Cheadle, Kim Delaney and others. Critics found it slow and dull, but you might like it now that 20 minutes has been trimmed to fit this time slot.

"Just Shoot Me," 7 and 7:30 p.m., NBC. In the first episode, Nina (Wendie Malick) reaches her wedding day. She's worried about the attractive minister (Amy Yasbeck), so Finch has a scheme. In the second, Jack suddenly retires and puts his daughter, Maya, in charge of the magazine.

"Hack," 8 p.m., CBS. In this rerun, Mike learns that a man is in prison for a murder he didn't commit.

"The District," 9 p.m., CBS. You know things are getting violent when the minister is shot at a funeral. In this rerun there's a search for the shooter and the motive.
