Hawaiian Airlines stock trading continues

By Dan Nakaso
Advertiser Staff Writer

The American Stock Exchange today resumed trading of stock in Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Hawaiian Airlines, the company announced today.

The stocked exchange halted Hawaiian Holdings trading on July 14 after Mellon Investor Services, LLC resigned as Hawaiian Holdings stock transfer agent. Hawaiian Holdings had failed to pay Mellon an undisclosed sum.

On Aug. 15, Hawaiian Holdings and Mellon reached a new agreement, Hawaiian Holdings officials said. Hawaiian Airlines filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March and is the sole, wholly owned subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings.
