Movie Openings

"The Cuckoo": A World War II tale set in northern Russia: A romantic triangle develops among a local Lapp woman and two soldiers from opposing sides of the war. In Finnish, Saami and Russian, with English subtitles. Opens tomorrow at The Art House at Restaurant Row. PG-13.

"Dirty Pretty Things": A thriller set in modern London and peopled mostly by immigrants to the city: A toilet in their hotel is found clogged with a human heart, and the porter stubbornly persists in looking for the reason — which leads to a revelation. Opens tomorrow at Varsity Twin. (R)

"Koi Mil Guya": From India, Bollywood goes sci-fi. A mentally challenged young man has a close encounter with a little lost alien. In Hindi, with English subtitles. Opens tomorrow at The Art House at Restaurant Row. (Not rated)

"Marci X": Lisa Kudrow and Damon Wayans star in a comedy about a young woman who must take over a hard-core rap label for her father.
