Verizon Hawaii chief retires

Verizon Hawaii president Warren Haruki is retiring, the company announced today.

Haruki, who leaves after 26 years with the company, will take some time off and then "will evaluate his career options and pursue new challenges," the company said.

His successor will be named soon.
