Cruise ship to stop at Fanning
Advertiser Staff
The Crystal Harmony ship will sail three 10-day Hawai'i cruises on Jan. 24, Feb. 3 and Feb. 13 next year, stopping at Fanning Island.
The 940-guest ship will call at Honolulu, Kaua'i, Big Island, Fanning Island in the Republic of Kiribati, the Big Island again and Maui before returning to Honolulu. Crystal Cruises earlier this year had announced plans to sail from Honolulu and stop at Christmas Island. The ship must stop at a foreign port to comply with federal law governing foreign flagged ships.
Norwegian Cruise Line, which stops at Fanning Island, was exempted from the foreign port stop requirement for certain ships through federal legislation passed earlier this year.
RoadRunner e-mail to be held
Oceanic Time Warner Cable said a plan to move incoming e-mail services to a faster, higher-capacity system will delay the delivery of e-mail to RoadRunner subscribers between midnight and 7 a.m. tomorrow.
The change also should address recent intermittent e-mail problems experienced by some users, the company said yesterday. E-mail sent to hawaii.rr.com users during the maintenance window will be stored until it can be retrieved after 7 a.m. tomorrow.
