McKinley stops Leilehua, 21-14

Quarterback Abel Werner completed passes to Iakopo Taumua for all three of McKinley's touchdowns in a 21-14 victory over Leilehua in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red Division I football game at Moanalua field last night.

It was the season-opener for both teams.

Werner completed 18 of 32 passes for 212 yards. Taumua had four catches for 92 yards, including TD catches of 41, 26 and 15 yards.
