Cyanotech gets Nasdaq reprieve

Advertiser Staff

Kona-based Cyanotech Corp. is no longer under threat of being kicked out of the Nasdaq SmallCap Market, the company said.

The microalgae producer it received a letter from Nasdaq on Wednesday notifying the company that it could remain listed because Cyanotech’s shares closed at a bid price of $1 or more for 13 consecutive trading days.

Gerald Cysewski, Cyanotech president and CEO, said the microalgae company can now give its full attention to returning to profitability.
