BYUH's Lin named to All-America team again

Three women's players from Brigham Young-Hawai'i and one from Hawai'i Pacific were selected to the Division II American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America teams.

The Seasiders' Chun Yi Lin became a two-time first-team selection. The 6-foot-1 sophomore middle blocker from Pingtune, Taiwan, was the only PacWest player among the 12 named to the first team. Lin led the conference in hitting percentage and blocks and was second in kills per game.
Teammate Yu Chuan Weng was named to the second team after ranking in the conference's top 10 in four statistical categories. The 5-foot-10 sophomore outside hitter from Hsinchu, Taiwan, was a first-team selection last season.
Hawai'i Pacific's Flavia Brakling was named to the All-America second team. The 6-foot sophomore outside hitter from Sao Paulo, Brazil, was one of the top four hitters in the conference this season, her first at HPU.
BYUH setter Kaala Lo earned honorable mention All-America honors after leading the conference in assists per game for the second straight year. Lin, Weng, Brakling and Lo were first-team All-Pacific Region selections as well.
