Inoue returns to Super Brawl tomorrow

Hawai'i's Egan Inoue returns to the ring when he faces Jason Miller of Las Vegas in Super Brawl XXXII tomorrow night at Blaisdell Arena.

Inoue was last scheduled to headline Super Brawl XXXI on Sept. 20 at Blaisdell, but withdrew because of an eye injury.

Tomorrow's first bout is scheduled to begin at 7:30.

Masanori Suda, who beat Inoue in May to win the world Shooto championship, will fight Shannon "The Cannon" Rich in the main event.

Other scheduled bouts are: Stephen Palling IV vs. Harver Nakamura, Mike Bauer vs. Brandon Keene, Bryan Pardoe vs. Sam Bass, Tyler Lecky vs. Ray "King Kong" Serraille and David Yeung vs. Justin Mercado.

Tickets may be purchased at the Blaisdell box office and are priced at $34, $44, $50 and $75.

BASEBALL

UH camps still open: The University of Hawai'i is still taking applications for its three baseball camps in the coming weeks.

Hitting camps (Dec. 22-23 and Dec. 27-28) and pitchers/catchers camps (Dec. 29-30) will be held at Les Murakami Stadium. The camps run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day with registration starting at 8 a.m. Cost is $115 per camp, which is open to children ages 8 to 18. Campers must provide their own lunch.

The camp will be conducted by UH coach Mike Trapasso and his staff, as well as UH players and area high school coaches.
