Advertiser Staff

An O'ahu grand jury has indicted a 20-year-old Kalihi woman on a charge of hindering prosecution for an alleged false alibi she gave police for one suspect in the Nov. 1 robbery and fatal shooting of Guylan Nuuhiwa in Pearl City.

Chantal Villamor is charged with providing Rosalino Ramos with "money, transportation, weapon, disguise, or other means of avoiding discovery, apprehension, prosecution, or conviction," according to the indictment.

Ramos is charged with one count of first-degree robbery in connection with a failed drug deal in Pearl City.

During the deal, Guylan Nuuhiwa was shot and killed, and another man was wounded. Micah Kanahele has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the case.

Ramos also is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Greg Morishima, 49, who was shot and killed Oct. 26 in an 'Aiea carport.
