Tonight's Must-See

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas," 7 p.m., WB. This wonderful little cartoon has been bouncing around the cable channels lately. Here's one chance for those without cable to see it. The starting point was Dr. Seuss' clever book. From there, Chuck Jones — the genius behind the best Bugs Bunny and Road Runner cartoons — added superb animation.

Of Note

"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. Jennifer Coolidge ("American Wedding") guests in this rerun as Monica's old classmate who is so snooty that she now has a British accent. Meanwhile, Joe and Rachel nervously prepare for their first real date. Also, Ross tries a spray-on tan, with — as expected — disastrous results.

"Biography," 6, 10 p.m., A&E. Even this series is now in a holiday mood. Tonight, it reruns its profile of Santa Claus.

"Good Morning, Miami," 7:30 p.m., NBC. Lies and schemes go awry. Penny and Gavin have a way to get free coffee, and Jake tricks Frank into dating the show's zookeeper.

"Will & Grace," 8 p.m., NBC. In this rerun, Grace is undecided about whether to go to the "Nutcracker" with Will or with her new husband, Leo. Her indecision complicates Will's plans for Christmas Eve with Jack and Karen.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. A teen has been beaten to death at a construction site. A woman was shot to death while her new husband and her ex-husband fought.

"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. Here's a rerun of one of the show's best episodes. This was during the time Kovac was drinking heavily and partying hard. As things start, he's been in a fierce car accident with Harking (the young intern played by Leslie Bibb, now of ABC's terrific "Line of Fire"). From here, the story keeps being told in reverse until the details of a blurry day become clear.
