Tonight's Must-See

"House Rules" finale, 6, 11 p.m., TBS. Here's a home-improvement show with a lot at stake. Only one of the three couples will keep the home it has improved. They started in Texas suburbia with homes that were massive — from 2,500 to 3,200 square feet — but plain. For 12 weeks they've been adding style and charm. Now they've finished, and viewers vote on who did the best job. The winner gets to keep the place.

Bill, 46, and Cindy, 37 are the oldest of the couples and have been married 11 years. Adam and Katie, both 23, are the youngest. They spent their honeymoon hammering and painting. In between are Joey, 28, and Rebecca, 26. They met at the Merchant Marine Academy and have been dating long-distance, with Rebecca in Texas and Joey stationed in North Carolina.

Of Note

"Horatio Hornblower: Loyalty" (2003), 6, 10 p.m., A&E. Tonight we get a double feature of the newest films in the terrific "Hornblower" series. This one begins with peacetime leaving the young naval officer (Ioan Gruffudd) penniless and restless. Warfare will soon return, and a traitor will be on board.

"Babes in Toyland" (1997), 7 p.m., Pax TV. Victor Herbert's operetta has been turned into a Mickey Rooney movie, an Annette Funicello movie, a Laurel-and-Hardy movie, even a three-hour TV film with Drew Barrymore. Here's a cartoon version with the voices of Lacey Chabert (the voice of Eliza Thornberry on "The Wild Thornberrys"), Charles Nelson Reilly, Jim Belushi and Bronson Pinchot.

"Horatio Hornblower: Duty" (2003), 8 p.m., midnight, A&E. This film starts with a rather overwhelmed Hornblower marrying his landlady's daughter, played by Julia Sawalha of "Absolutely Fabulous." Then it's back to war.

"Hope & Faith," 8 p.m., ABC. In a rerun, Faith learns she fell one class short of high school graduation. Now she's back in school.
