Renowned pastors to visit in February

Hawaiian Island Ministries' 2004 conference, set for Feb. 26 to 28 at the Hawai'i Convention Center, will bring a host of speakers of national and global interest to the largest annual ecumenical gathering in Hawai'i. They include:

• David Yonggi Cho, senior pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea, which has more than 770,000 members. Cho, who has preached to more than 11 million people worldwide, will give the morning plenary address on Feb. 27.

• Tony Campolo, an internationally known speaker and founder of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education, who has written 28 books.

• Bart Campolo, president of Mission Year, a national Christian service program that recruits young adults to join outreach teams living and working in the inner city.

• Christian contemporary musician Chris Tomlin will be worship leader.

• Ravi Zacharias, an Atlanta-based minister who has spoken in more than 50 countries and has a weekly radio program, "Let My People Think," broadcast on more than 1,000 stations worldwide. He'll give the afternoon plenary address Feb. 27.
