A recap of the eclectic collection: "Hawaiian Memories" by Ira Ono of Volcano, Big Island. His mixed-media collage has various Hawaiian images, including reproductions of Hawaiian postage stamps from the 1840s.
"Wonderment of Christmas" by Patricia Greene of Nu'uanu. Greene's silver-and-blue cloth creation features a stamped, painted and embroidered child's face framed with patterns of opalescent crystal beads and stars.
"Hoku O Ke Kai" by Yvonne Manipon of Hawai'i Kai. Manipon's creation of acrylic beads strung together with pipe cleaners features every color of the rainbow.
"Kukui" by Mark Chai of Kailua. His light-up ornament is made of 24 polypropylene plastic segments with tabs that interlock into a Chinese lamp-like ball.
"Hawaiian Christmas" by Hank Taufaasau of Manoa.
Taufaasau's bell-shaped ornament features a Hawaiian nativity scene done in oil, as well as hula dancers and a canvas poinsettia. He's also throwing in a sketch of the painting for the highest bidder.
"Sparkle Kiss" and "Silver Sweet" by Lori Uyehara of Mililani. Uyehara used recyclable materials to fashion her two pieces: the top of a water bottle embellished with lace and ribbons, and foil-wrapped foam with silver chains.
