Tips sought on runaway girl

Missing Child Center-Hawai'i is asking the public's help in locating a teenage girl who ran away from her Wahiawa home in May.

Gliselle Morales, 16, has been missing from her Wahiawa home since May 7.

Gliselle Morales ran away from home May 7, just days before her 16th birthday.

She was a ninth-grader at Leilehua High School when she ran away. She was a good student who earned A's and B's, her mother said. Morales is 4 feet 11 inches tall and 112 pounds.

The girl is thought to be on O'ahu, because she has called her mother several times. Her family believes she may be under the influence of a 26-year-old man.

Renette Parker, interim coordinator for Missing Child Center-Hawai'i, said the case has come to a dead end. Without the public's help, she is not sure what else can be done to locate the teenager. She said police have no clues to work with.
