Ex-judge censured over disclosure
Advertiser Staff
The Hawai'i Supreme Court yesterday publicly censured former District Court Judge David Fong, saying he did not fully disclose his wife's financial interests between 1990 and 2003. The censure order said Fong was "at least aware of alleged criminal activity at a property owned by his wife."
Fong could not be reached yesterday to comment.
When his disclosure statements came under scrutiny in July 2000, Fong denied knowledge of alleged criminal activity taking place at hostess bars that leased space in a building once owned by his wife, Connie Yon Fong.
