Despite injuring his foot early in the game, Warriors' right cornerback Kelvin Millhouse Jr. came up stellar on defense, picking off two passes — one that led to a Warriors' TD — broke up two pass plays and led the team with eight solo tackles, including one for lost yardage.

With the game tied at 20, the Cougars faced third-and-11 from their own 41, when quarterback Kevin Kolb was intercepted by Millhouse at the Houston 49. That set up Rivers' 7-yard TD catch from Tim Chang that put the Warriors ahead, 27-20.

"Basically, we were playing man-to-man coverage and the first one I got was huge because our offense scored," said the 6-foot-1, 205-pound senior. "It was huge for our team and momentum."

On Houston's next series, he intercepted Kolb again. But that was negated with an interception by safety Will Gulley off Chang.

All this after Millhouse said he hurt his right foot. But he wasn't ready to end his collegiate career on the sidelines.

"It was bothering me the whole game, but I had to suck it up a little bit," he said. "My teammates are counting on me."

He isn't sure how Vincent Marshall scored on the 81-yard pass play to force the overtime.

"We were in four-deep coverage and I think the receiver just found a seam," he said.
