Nani is a beautiful black Lab/pit mix who is looking for a loving, active home. She is about 2 years old and interacts well with people of all ages. Her former owners say she enjoys learning and already knows how to sit and speak.

These particular animals already may have found new homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open noon to 8 p.m. weekdays; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends, Dec. 31 and Jan. 2. The shelter is closed on Jan. 1 except for incoming animals area and emergency rescues. If you've lost or found an animal, call the society immediately at 946-2187, ext. 285.
