SBA cancels hearings on O'ahu, Maui
Advertiser Staff and News Services
The Small Business Administration has canceled ombudsman hearings that were scheduled this week.
National Ombudsman Michael Barrera was to hear the concerns of Hawai'i business owners on O'ahu and Maui. But the hearings were canceled because of a delay by Congress in approving the Small Business Administration's budget for 2003, the Hawai'i District Office said in a news release.
Written testimony will still be accepted through Thursday on concerns regarding excessive enforcement of rules and regulations by federal agencies. For more information, call 541-2990.
