"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. In this key episode, Robert will propose to Amy, kicking off a story arc for the rest of the season..

"The John Garfield Story," 3 & 6 p.m., Turner Classic Movies. In the 1940s, Warner Brothers made taut films about working guys. The method actor John Garfield was ideal. His potential was limited only by blacklisting and a heart problem. In 1959, at 39, he died of a heart attack.

"Veritas: The Quest," 7 p.m., ABC. Tonight, the focus is on Antarctica.

"Joe Millionaire," 8 p.m., FOX. The field is trimmed to two women.
