Tonight's Must-See

"Fastlane," 7 p.m., Fox. In the first half of this two-parter, federal bureaucrats wanted to close down the Candy Store project in which Billie (Tiffani Thiessen) and her undercover cops use confiscated vehicles and gadgets. Tonight, the complications grow. Billie's been framed for murder.

Of Note

"The Patriot" (2000), 3 p.m., TBS. Two Australians, Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger, play an American father and son, reluctantly pulled into the revolutionary war.

"Mister Sterling," 7 p.m., NBC. Sterling's committee must approve the appointment of his former roommate to a top position.

"Hack," 8 p.m., CBS. Back when he was a cop, Mike (David Morse) sent a mentally disabled man (Chad Lowe) to prison. The guy will soon be executed. His brother (Gary Cole) has taken Mike, now a cab driver, prisoner.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," 9 p.m., NBC. The show strays far from its New York City turf tonight. Stabler (Christopher Meloni) is supposed to go to Prague, where officials investigating pedophiles are looking for a missing teenage girl.
