Kahuku sweeps OIA crowns

The Kahuku High boys and girls won titles at the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Dual Meet Tournament yesterday at Moanalua.

The Red Raiders' boys routed Pearl City, 66-9, in the semifinals, while Kaiser defeated Waipahu, 39-28.

In the final, Kahuku beat Kaiser, 38-31.

The Red Raiders' girls beat Pearl City, 38-12, in the semifinals, while Leilehua beat Moanalua, 42-18.

In the final, Kahuku beat Leilehua, 39-12. Amanda Aquino (98 pounds), Nicole Fonda (103), Elizabeth Torres (114), Leilani Relator (121), Kehau Kamauoha (140) and Jenna Vihipali (155) scored pinfall victories for the Red Raiders.
