Tonight's Must-See

"Most Outrageous Game Show Moments 2," 7 p.m., NBC. Some strange things happen to people when the TV cameras are turned on. This hour has lots of weak moments, including material that's suggestive without being funny. Still, some funny clips zip by. You'll enjoy views of people who were contestants before they were stars. Those include David Letterman, and on the "Dating Game": Steve Martin, Cuba Gooding Jr. and a bizarre Andy Kaufman.

Of Note

"American Idol," 7 p.m., Fox. Eight singers compete. Then viewers will make two of them finalists.

"Nova: Mountain of Ice," 8 p.m., PBS. Using 40-year-old maps and an unexplored route, a team climbed to the highest peak in Antarctica.

"24," 8 p.m., Fox. As last week's episode closed, Jack felt the terrorist was still hiding somewhere in the mosque. Now the hunt begins.
