Saint Louis basketball

Scored 12 of his team-high 17 points in the second half to help the Crusaders rally from a 27-26 halftime deficit and defeat Maryknoll, 59-55.

BRYSON BORGES

Roosevelt basketball

Senior guard scored the game-winning basket at the end of the Rough Riders' 46-45 double-overtime victory over Castle, then had 16 points in a 40-39 overtime win over Kaiser, including a 3-pointer at the end of regulation.

'Aiea basketball

Scored a game-high 18 points to help Na Ali'i defeat Waipahu, 51-39.

McKinley basketball

Senior scored 14 points, including the game-winning free throw with one second remaining, in a 41-40 victory over Farrington.

Senior set a school record in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2 minutes, .08 seconds and set a pool record in the 100 breast in 1:06.83 at the HPA Invitational, then played 80 minutes of soccer that afternoon to help Ka Makani defeat Kealakehe, 3-2, to win the BIIF championship.

Senior scored a goal in the Trojans' 3-0 victory over Kahuku in the OIA semifinals, then scored the winning goal in the 92nd minute of Mililani's 3-2 sudden-death win over Pearl City for the championship.

Scored two goals in the Menehunes' 3-2 victory over Kaiser in the OIA consolation bracket, helping Moanalua advance to the fifth-place game, which it won for the OIA's fifth and final state tournament berth.

Combined with Chaz Ebaloaroza on a one-hitter to help the Hurricanes defeat Kahuku, 10-0, in an OIA first-round playoff game, then pitched a complete game and went 3-for-4 in a 5-2 consolation-bracket victory over Moanalua which advanced them to the fifth-place game. Kapolei won that game over Pearl City, 9-8, to earn its first state tournament berth in a team sport.

Went 2-for-3 with four RBIs in a 6-2 victory over Campbell in an OIA first-round playoff game.

Struck out 15 batters in a 3-2 loss to Lana'i in nine innings.

Senior right-hander pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts and went 2-for-3 in a

5-0 victory over Moanalua in the OIA quarterfinals, then pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts and went 3-for-3 with a run-scoring double in the Trojans' 2-0 semifinal win over Castle.

Went 2-for-5 with the game-winning RBI in a 3-2 upset of Baldwin in nine innings.

Sophomore right-hander pitched a combined 16 innings on consecutive days in gaining victories over Baldwin and Lahainaluna to help the Pine Lasses advance to the MIL tournament championship game for the first time.

Went 2-for-3 with two triples and a home run to help the Mules upset Kaimuki, 14-3, in the first round of the OIA championship tournament.

Went 3-for-4 with two doubles to help the Mules upset Kaimuki, 14-3, in the first round of the OIA championship tournament, pitched a four-hitter and went 2-for-3 in a 2-1 quarterfinal upset over Wai'anae, pitched a five-hitter in a 2-0 loss to Kailua in the semifinals, and a three-hitter in a 2-0 victory over Castle in the third-place game.

Junior shortstop went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs in a 5-0 victory over Moanalua in the OIA quarterfinals, then went 2-for-3 with a double and home run in the Trojans' 2-0 semifinal win over Castle.

Sophomore pitched a three-hitter and recorded the first shutout of Kamehameha in two years in a 2-0 victory, which forced a playoff for the ILH championship, then pitched a one-hitter with one walk in a 1-0 loss to the Warriors in the title game.

Won the 100 breaststroke in 1 minute, .11 seconds, the 50 free in 23.34 seconds and was a member of the Hurricanes' winning 200 free relay team at the OIA West championship meet, won by Kapolei.

Won the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.12 seconds, the 200 individual medley in 2 minutes, 8.47 seconds and was a member of the Trojans' winning 200 medley relay team at the OIA West championship meet.

STELLA BRINICH

Radford

Broke an 18-year-old OIA West meet record by swimming the 100 butterfly in 1 minute, .22 seconds. She also won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:11.73.

ASHLEY BUNDA

Leilehua

Won the 100 breaststroke and was a member of the Mules' winning 200 free and 400 free relay teams at the OIA West championship meet, won by Leilehua.

JONATHAN CHING

Roosevelt

Won the 100 freestyle with a time of 50.42 seconds, the 100 backstroke in 58.04 seconds and was a member of the Rough Riders' winning 200 medley relay team at the OIA East championship meet.

LESLIE CHRISTIAN

Won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5 minutes, 19.53 seconds, the 200 free in 2:01.79 and was a member of the Mules' winning 200 free and 400 free relay teams at the OIA West championship meet, won by Leilehua.

QUINTON DARLING

Won the 500 freestyle with a time of 4 minutes, 54.32 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1:07.17 at the OIA East championship meet.

MEREDITH EGLORIA

Freshman broke a 13-year-old OIA West meet record with a time of 24.44 seconds in the 50 freestyle, a time that ranks her 10th in the nation according to the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches of America. She also won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1 minute, 2.73 seconds.

Won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1 minute, 55.96 seconds, the 500 free in 5:08.45 and was a member of the Trojans' winning 200 free relay team at the OIA West championship meet.

Won the 100 frestyle with a time of 55.38 seconds, the 50 free in 25.88 and was a member of the Mustangs' winning 200 free relay team at the OIA East championship meet.

Won the 100 freestyle with a time of 58.81 seconds and was a member of the Mules' winning 200 freestyle and 400 free relay teams at the OIA West championship meet, won by Leilehua.

Won the 100 butterfly with a time of 1 minute, 3.51 seconds and was a member of the Falcons' winning 400 freestyle and 200 individual medley relay teams at the OIA East championship meet.
