Tonight's Must-See

"Survivor: The Amazon" debut, 7 p.m., CBS. Whenever "Survivor" seems to have run its course, it comes up with a fresh approach. This time, it's in Brazil's lush Amazon rain forest. In an added twist, its two tribes are all-male and all-female.

Of Note

"Are You Hot? The Search for America's Sexiest People," 7 p.m., ABC. The regional contests begin.

"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. It seemed like a grand gesture when Chandler quit his big-money job so he could be close to Monica. Now he accepts an internship working alongside people a decade younger. Meanwhile, Joey auditions for a pompous actor-director (Jeff Goldblum) and Ross learns who mugged him when he was young.

"Will & Grace," 8 p.m., NBC. This show has been landing some major guest stars during this sweeps period. Tonight, Demi Moore plays Jack's long-ago baby sitter.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8:30 p.m., CBS. Melinda Clarke returns to her guest role as dominatrix Lady Heather in a story that involves Grissom and two murder cases.

"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. Sally Field returns as Abby's mother. She shows up trying to find out whether her son (Abby's brother) has died in a plane crash.
