Get keiki IDs at 'Aiea Times

The Hawai'i Missing Child Center will distribute keiki identification cards at the 'Aiea Times Supermarket on Saturday and Sunday.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days at the supermarket in the 'Aiea Shopping Center.

The free keiki identification cards allow a parent to keep a child's recent photos, fingerprints and personal and physical information in one document if a child is reported missing.

It also recommends taking several of a child's hair strands — roots and follicles intact — for DNA identification.

The free community service is sponsored by Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. and the Hawai'i Missing Child Center.

For details, call 586-1449.
