United offers Hawai'i deals

United Airlines is advertising low fares to Hawai'i with the hope that the East Coast's harsh winter will bring many to consider a trip to the Islands. The fares start at $309 from New York to Honolulu.

"Given the major snowstorm that blanketed the Eastern Seaboard this week, the allure of a vacation to warm Hawai'i has never been stronger," said Chris Bowers, senior vice president of sales and reservations.

The sale through Feb. 28 is for flights to and from Hawai'i on trips completed by June 13. Sale fares are available from cities across the Mainland to Honolulu, Kona and Maui.
