How Hawai'i hotels are faring

With Hawai'i in the height of its high season, Maui led all islands in hotel occupancy and room rates for the week ending last week Saturday, according to Hospitality Advisors LLC. Statewide hotel occupancy and room rates declined slightly. O'ahu and Kaua'i experienced decline in occupancy while the Big Island showed a slight increase.
