Let's use duct tape for FUN, shall we?

Advertiser Staff

There are cheerier things to do with duct tape than to use it for homeland security, though we would never argue against its practical value. (And we mean no offense, either, against plastic sheeting.) In the spirit of fun, we found a Web site, www.ducktapeclub.com or www.ducttapeclub.com (same site, honest!), whose keepers just do not know the meaning of "serious." Good thing for us.

Here you can:

• Check out photos of fashion designs, poetry with a tape theme, browse through the art gallery where we found "Duck Tape" (pictured above), take a very light-hearted tour through duct-tape history.

• Learn to make a rose out of tape (the site's Calendar section, under Feb. 14).

• Follow the adventures of Rock Tapewright, a strong-jawed but dim fellow who's always getting into sticky situations. Figure out a creative solution to the month's comic strip, and win lots of stuff!

• Play games, such as puzzles, or even a coloring book starring Rock Tapewright and his pal Maj. Stickwell.
