This handsome cat is all dressed up in his tuxedo coat with white socks. About 18 months old, Crazy craves attention, enjoys people of all ages, and gets along well with other cats. Look for Crazy and his buddy Slick (another black and white cat) in Room 1 at the Cat House.

Doug

At a year old, this handsome shar pei mix is an active adolescent. Doug's coat is fawn, with a black muzzle. He has plenty of energy and loves to play fetch. When adopted, Doug will already be neutered and ready for a long, healthy life in a loving home.

These particular animals already may have found new homes. Visit to see all the pets in person. The Hawaiian Humane Society (www.hawaiianhumane.org) at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. is open noon to 8 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends. The incoming-animals area always is open.
