Tonight's Must-See

"My Big Fat Greek Life," 8:30 p.m., CBS. Here is one of the most eagerly awaited comedies in years. It takes a terrific movie ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") and moves almost everyone — starting with writer-star Nia Vardalos — to a TV series. However, there's one bad sign: Less than a week before the debut, CBS still didn't have the first episode ready for review. The TV version (which airs at 7 p.m. Sundays after today) starts where the movie ends. The newlyweds return to her Greek family, which overflows with food, noise, love and eccentricities. John Corbett, who played the love interest in the movie, wasn't available so Steven Eckholdt will star as the non-Greek groom.

Of Note

"Boston Public," 7 p.m., Fox. On "American Idol," Tamyra Gray showed stunning talent before viewers voted her out, shocking the judges. Now Gray will do at least four episodes for "Public." She plays a teen singer unsure of her talent.

"Joe Millionaire: The Aftermath," 8 p.m., Fox. Last week, 40 million people saw the pseudo-millionaire choose Zora. He admitted to her that he'd been lying about being rich. Then the show surprised both by giving them $1 million — if they stay together. Tonight, among other things, viewers will find out if they have.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," 8 p.m., CBS. This is the episode the network promised (and then pulled) for last week. Fred Willard and Georgia Engel return as Amy's odd parents.
