Iolani top seed in state basketball

Defending champion Iolani has been awarded the No. 1 seed in this week's Hawaiian Airlines Boys Basketball Championship.
The Raiders, who won the Interscholastic League of Honolulu title with a 14-0 record, will receive a first-round bye in the tournament that runs Wednesday through Saturday at the Blaisdell Arena.
The other seeded teams are: Maui Interscholastic League champion Maui (14-0), Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion Kea'au (13-0) and O'ahu Interscholastic Association champion Kalaheo (11-3).

Wednesday
