Tonight's Must-See

"Friends," 7 and 9 p.m., NBC. Reruns return today. Here are two funny episodes that center on Phoebe's romance with the bland, but likable Mike. The first episode at 7 p.m. tells how they were set up on a date so Joey could date Phoebe's friend. The second episode at 9 p.m. places Ross in the odd position of making up a story about Phoebe having a longtime boyfriend.

"Profiles From the Front Line" premiere, 7 p.m., ABC. The producers of "The Amazing Race" created this slick series portraying U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan. The one flaw is that not much happens. Filming began after U.S. troops were thoroughly in control. That lets "Profiles" focus on the people and some of them are fascinating. Peter Sarvis was a stockbroker and a newlywed when the Sept. 11 attacks came. An Army reservist, he enlisted for full-time duty; we see him as a corporal refueling helicopters while they are running.

Of Note

"Survivor: The Amazon," 7 p.m., CBS. It's time to oust a third person.

"Scrubs," 7:30 p.m., NBC. Jay Mohr guest stars as a doctor who has insights into Dr. Cox.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. In this rerun, a woman disappears during a magic act.

"Are You Hot? The Search for America's Sexiest People," 8 p.m., ABC. Here's the third round of this show, which has quickly established itself as one of the most mindless and empty exercises in TV history.

"Will & Grace," 8 and 9:30 p.m., NBC. In the first rerun, Will and Grace end up biking through the countryside with hardy Leo and his friend. In the second, Gene Wilder plays Will's emotional boss.

"Good Morning, Miami," 8:30 p.m., NBC. Jake and Penny have nudged together romantically. Before they can do anything about it, however, Jake must deal with his long obsession with the beautiful and lovable Dylan.
