Movie Openings

"Rabbit-Proof Fence": The story of three young Aborigine girls, ages 8 to 14, who are taken from their families and put in a government school to learn to be laborers. Their crime: being of mixed race. The three girls escape from their "school" and undertake a 1,500-mile trek back to their homes. Opens today at Varsity Twins. (PG).
