Aloha joins Hawaiian in ending coupons

Advertiser Staff

Aloha Airlines announced today it will also end its interisland travel coupon program, following Hawaiian Airlines' move to do the same yesterday.

Aloha said it will stop selling coupons to the public or for resale through travel agents as of Monday.

Existing coupons will be honored until their expiration date.

Aloha also said it will raise its fares to match Hawaiian's prices of $66 for seven-day advance tickets, $70 for three-day advance tickets and $75 for unrestricted fares that require no advance purchase.

Booking changes will cost $15.

The airline will also impose a $25 fee for travelers who want paper tickets.
