Small-business seminars offered

The Small Business Resource Center holds a "Mini Business Development Seminar" for the aspiring or current business owner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every second and fourth Wednesday.

The seminar is at the Small Business Resource Center, 1041 Nu'uanu Ave. Topics vary. The seminar is free, and parking is available at Chinatown Gateway Plaza for a fee. Call Olive for a reservation at 522-8136.

Also, the Hawaii Small Business Development Center Network will conduct a seminar tomorrow on starting a business in Hawai'i. The topics include entrepreneurship, four ingredients to business success and sources of capital.

The seminar runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon at 1041 Nu'uanu Ave., Suite A. Fee; to register, call 522-8131, Ext. 221.


Brown-bag lunch series scheduled

The Small Business Resource Center will conduct the first session in a brown-bag lunch series on Friday. The topic is "Fearless Living." The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1041 Nu'uanu Ave. Fee for nonmembers; parking is available for a fee at Chinatown Gateway Plaza. Call Olive for a reservation at 522-8136.
