"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. In a previous episode, a hung-over Luka filled in at the hospital. He misdiagnosed a case, leaving a young patient with brain damage. He also caused a serious car accident. Now comes the aftermath. To avoid a lawsuit, Romano tells him not to admit it was his fault. Meanwhile, others have their problems: Weaver tries to keep her pregnancy a secret, Pratt brings a gun into the emergency room and Chen deals with students who overdosed on Ritalin.

"Star Search," 7 p.m., CBS. This updated talent show, which premiered Wednesday, continues. It's leading to a quick finale Feb. 6.
"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. Joblessness, even temporarily, seems hard on people. Rachel visits the office during her maternity leave and worries that the temp (played by Dermot Mulroney) will take her place. Chandler, who just quit his Oklahoma job because he missed Monica, now has too much empty time. And Phoebe causes chaos when she's an extra on Joey's soap opera.
"Will & Grace," 8 p.m., NBC. Andy Garcia guest stars as a handsome restaurant owner whom Karen is getting ready to date.
"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. The chef in an upscale restaurant has been killed.
"Surreal Life," 9 p.m., WB. Why watch regular people living together when we can watch former stars? This odd reality series puts together three people who faded fast Corey Feldman, Emmanuel Lewis and MC Hammer. Also included are Gabrielle Carteris from "Beverly Hills, 90210," Brande Roderick from "Baywatch Hawaii," Vince Neil from Motley Crue, and Jerri Manthey, the angry one from "Survivor: The Australian Outback."
"Good Morning, Miami," 8:30 p.m., NBC. While at a party, Jake gives Dylan a present with a romantic inscription. Naturally, things go wrong.
