Aloha boosting Oakland flights

Advertiser Staff

Aloha Airlines said it will start its first nonstop flights to Lihue, Kaua'i, from Oakland four times a week starting June 19, and will increase its Oakland-to-Kona flights to daily from four times a week. Aloha currently offers daily nonstop flights from Oakland to Honolulu and to Maui.

Aloha will also begin nonstop flights between Vancouver and Kona on Sundays. It will offer Vancouver-to-Honolulu and Vancouver-to-Maui flights three times a week each, instead of daily.

Aloha announced last year it would start flights between Burbank and Kahului, Maui, and said yesterday the flights will run four times a week starting Feb. 14, then expand to daily flights March 13. Aloha will add on a flight from Burbank to Sacramento on April 18.
