Unbeaten Brian Viloria attempts to defend his North American Boxing Federation flyweight (112) title tonight in a co-feature bout on ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights."

VILORIA
The 22-year-old Viloria (10-0, 6 KOs) meets Alejandro Moreno, 24, of Mexico (19-10-1, 10 KOs) over a scheduled 12 rounds at the Mohegan Sun Casino Resort in Uncasville, Conn.

Viloria's corner said the bout will be shown at approximately 5:30 p.m., Hawai'i time.

"Brian has been focused and working hard in the gym," said Gary Gittelsohn, Viloria's manager.

"I'm really looking forward to this fight because I've had some of the best training and sparring I've ever had," Viloria said. "I worked with a world champion and some top contenders in the gym getting ready for this fight.

"I wasn't as sharp as I should have been in my last fight because I neglected to stay with the body shots and combinations and tried too hard to go for the knockout. I didn't take my (last) opponent as serious as I should have."
