Tonight's Must-See
"Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981), 3:40 p.m., AMC. "Raiders" brought a convergence of great talent: George Lucas conceived and produced it, naming the hero after his boyhood dog, Indiana. He wanted to cast an unknown and chose Tom Selleck. When Selleck's new TV role intruded, he settled for a star, Harrison Ford. Steven Spielberg directed (brilliantly), Lawrence Kasdan wrote the script and John Williams composed the music. The result is an adventure classic.
