An average person, in a moment of serious reflection, will say that after all, friends make life worth living. Emerson did not exaggerate when he said to a friend, "Through thee alone the sky is arched. Through thee the rose is red." We may not have a million dollars but if we have a few who are trusted and true, we are rich indeed.
