Today

  • Centennial Memorial unveiling, sculpture by artist Bou-Chan Pak, 1 p.m., Pawa'a Park.
  • Parade, Fort DeRussy to Kapi'olani Park, 3-5 p.m.

Tomorrow

  • Ceremony, 9 a.m., Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom.
  • Banquet, with keynote address by Washington state Sen. Paull Shin, entertainment featuring Brooke Lee, emcee; 5:30 p.m. cocktails, 6:30 p.m. dinner, 8:15 p.m. show, Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom. Tickets: $125. 864-9812.

Tomorrow and Wednesday

  • "Arirang: The Korean-American Journey," centennial documentary premiere, broadcast at 7:30 p.m. Monday, KHET; screening at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Doris Duke at the Academy. 956-7041.

Tuesday

  • Korean Broadcasting System Open Concert, featuring Christopher Cross and stars from South Korea and Hawai'i, Waikiki Shell, 6:30 p.m. Tickets were free, but all were given out through retail distributors.
  • Korean Cultural Center of Hawai'i opening, 10 a.m., 2736 Rooke Ave.

Wednesday

  • "Explore Korea: A Visit to Grandfather's House," a children's exhibit, at the Education Gallery,Honolulu Academy of Arts. 532-8702.

Saturday

  • Second Annual Korean Festival, with food, entertainment, cultural exhibits, products for sale, games; 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Kapi'olani Park Bandstand. Volunteers: Contact organizers (andrelee@hawaii.rr.com or 393-2156).
